What are the signature elements in your designs?

Belsi's jewelry is known for its unique and distinctive design elements that set it apart. While specific signature elements may vary over time as the brand evolves, our jewelry is typically crafted from high-quality materials, such as sterling silver, moissanite, and brass, often with precious or semi-precious gemstones incorporated into the designs. These premium materials ensure durability and longevity. Many of our designs incorporate geometric and sculptural details that are meticulously crafted to create dimension and texture. These geometric elements add visual interest and modern appeal to the pieces. Some of our nature-inspired designs evoke a sense of beauty and serenity, bringing a touch of the natural world into the jewelry pieces

Which collection are you most proud of, and why?

"The Bamboo Collection" is one such collection we are extremely proud of. We put endless hours into the making of this collection, with great attention to detail to each design, bringing forth a collection which is truly inspired by mother nature. Each design incorporates the geometric details and textures of the Bamboo plant, giving the pieces a modern appeal along with a touch of nature's serenity. The meticulous craftsmenship of every craftsman truly brings these designs to life.

Where do you find inspiration for your designs?

" Belsi’s Jewelry takes inspiration from the brilliant and resilient stories of India’s bold and inquisitive women. Coming from a big Indian family of five sisters, jewelry always had a significant role in our lives, symbolizing a form of love, pride, and a rich cultural heritage. Our grandmother, Shantaben, was our biggest source of inspiration, who started her own business in the trying times of the 1940s, which was no easy feat for a woman of that era."

Share a memorable "aha" moment from your design career.

In 2017, our "Shanta Collection" got picked for the New York Fashion Week, dedicated to Breast Cancer awareness, with breast cancer survivors as models for the collection. We have always been an advocate for cancer awareness and we were happy to associate with this cause on such a large platform. This was a critical moment in our company’s history as it propelled us to where we are now.
