If your designs could speak, what would they say?

They would convey a sense of timelessness and speak with the same fervor across generations. They resonate with a kind of aura that is forever new.

What are the signature elements in your designs?

Our love of colours, purity of textiles, and flawless craftmanship.

Which collection are you most proud of, and why?

While I hold pride in all my collections, I particularly cherish my inaugural collection, "The Crystal Heraut". Its success resonated with the desired market and it realized my dream of making a definite space for my brand in mainstream fashion.

Where do you find inspiration for your designs?

The rich tapestry of textiles from around the globe has long held my fascination, deeply influencing the essence of my collections. I'm hopelessly in love with the magic of the craft that is textiles, it could be a Banarsi one day and a chantilly another time. I find inspiration in people, life, and poetry and use it to build my collections together.

Which designer in the world inspires you?

Iris Van Herpen

Share a memorable "aha" moment from your design career.

Recalling the time of my first show at the Wills India Fashion Week, I found myself at a loss while deciding the showstopper's look. As I pondered, my eyes fell upon some ivory and scarlet fringes resting on Masterji's desk, inspiring a black and ivory chiffon and cashmere saree with scarlet fringes. The resulting piece stole the show and to this day, we receive orders for the same.
